For this year’s conference there are a number of hotel venues where block bookings have been made to ensure delegates’ individual requirements are accommodated.
Accommodation bookings must be made by Friday 30th October via the AIOH registration form to avoid disappointment and ensure the discounted rate. After this time, accommodation cannot be guaranteed via the AIOH and delegates may need to seek accommodation independently.
In addition to the venues listed below, a block booking has been made at the Hyatt Hotel. Reservations are made directly to the Grand Hyatt on 131 234 quoting reservation code G-AIOH.

Crowne Plaza
Crowne Plaza Canberra adjacent to the National Convention Centre and is contemporary and modern in architecture and design, providing luxury accommodation and service excellence. The stylish foyer entices guests with the sunlight flooding from the atrium roof down to the galleries, restaurant and lobby below. The hotel also boasts a recreation and sports court, outdoor pool and casino.
The Crowne Plaza is the main hotel of choice of the 2009 Conference Committee and has the largest block booking.

The Novotel Canberra is a 4.5 star hotel and is location approximately 1km from the National Convention Centre. Facilities include; restaurant, bar, heated indoor pool, spa and sauna as well as a self serve business centre.

Medina Serviced Apartments
For those wishing to bring family along, a block booking as been made at the Medina Serviced Apartments located approximately 2km from the National Convention Centre.
All apartments have two bedrooms and includes a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. The Medina Apartments also boasts a outdoor heated pool, spa and sauna. It also has an onsite McDonalds.

University House, the hotel at the Australian National University, offers quiet accommodation and fine facilities among parkland and gardens. It is situated approximately 2kms from the National Convention Centre and offers rooms for the more budget minded delegate.
