The COVID-19 Pandemic has impacted every business large or small, no industry and no person has remained unaffected. The AIOH is no exception. AIOH Council, Staff and Committees have identified the potential risks and will be implementing effective contingency plans to deliver key services throughout this very challenging time of financial constraints and physical distancing.
Virtual symposium: As a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the existing restrictions associated with both domestic and international travel and business disruption, AIOH Council has decided that for 2020 the Institute will be convening a special two-day Virtual Symposium, which will celebrate our 40th year anniversary! This two-day virtual event will be held on Monday the 30th of November and Tuesday the 1st of December 2020.
2020 Conference Postponed: The Symposium will replace the Institute’s Annual Conference traditionally held at this time. Accordingly, the Adelaide 2020 conference and CES sessions has been postponed until 2021.
2020 Courses and seminars: Until it is clearer when the government restrictions will be lifted, all BPC Training courses and Seminars have been suspended up until the end of June and will be rescheduled at a later date. We will continue to monitor the situation for Seminars and Courses scheduled for 3Q20.
