The COVID-19 Pandemic has impacted every business large or small, no industry and no person has remained unaffected. The AIOH is no exception. AIOH Council, Staff and Committees have identified the potential risks and will be implementing effective contingency plans to deliver key services throughout this very challenging time of financial constraints and physical distancing.
Virtual symposium: The Institute will be convening a Virtual Symposium in 2020, which will celebrate our 40th year anniversary! This virtual event will be held from Monday the 30th of November to Thursday 3rd December 2020 from 2:30pm to 5:00pm AEST.
2020 Conference Postponed: The Symposium will replace the Institute’s Annual Conference traditionally held at this time. Accordingly, the Adelaide 2020 conference and CES sessions has been postponed until 2021.
2020 Courses and seminars: Until it is clearer when the government restrictions will be lifted, all BPC Training courses and Seminars have been suspended up and will be rescheduled at a later date.
As we are investigating new ways to support our members during this extraordinary time. If you have any suggestions, we welcome your ideas.

2021 aioh conference
The Australian and New Zealand Society of Occupational Medicine (ANZSOM) invites you to their 2020 Annual Scientific Meeting, 'Exploring the new normal in workplace health' to be held virtually from 19-22 November 2020. Click here for Conference program.
Reflecting the current priorities in workplace health, the program will feature three sessions devoted to COVID-19 risks and management, with a Keynote Address from Professor Brett Sutton, Victoria’s Chief Health Officer.
We will also offer virtual site visits for the first time, an online Journal Club and a range of topical presentations, all designed to get you involved.
