On behalf of the Occupational Hygiene Society of Ireland (OHSI) and the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS), we are pleased to invite you to actively participate in the

International Occupational Hygiene Association (IOHA) 2024 annual conference

The IOHA 2024 conference will take place from the 9th to the 13th of June 2024 in Dublin, Ireland! The conference theme is ‘Protecting workers from health hazards: Advancing in this changing world’.

IOHA 2024 conference aims to bring together occupational hygienists, public bodies and policy-makers, academic scientists and researchers from all relevant associated sectors and fields to connect and exchange their ideas and experiences to promote occupational hygiene and worker health protection.

Dr Alison Connolly, the Chair of the Scientific Committee

I am delighted to Chair the Scientific Committee for IOHA 2024, and the whole committee is already working tirelessly to arrange a brilliant programme for the conference, including excellent keynote speakers, which I look forward to announcing over the coming months, and an engaging scientific programme. I encourage industry professionals with relevant case studies, scientists with novel research findings and policymakers with relevant updates on policies/guidance and legislation to consider submitting an abstract for the conference. Additionally, there are so many ways to get involved, including oral and poster presentations, workshops, or delivering a professional development course (PDC).  I look forward to meeting everyone on the ‘Emerald Isle’.

Nuala Flavin, Chair of the IOHA Organising Committee and Former President of the Occupational Hygiene Society of Ireland (OHSI).

It is a great privilege to chair the Conference Organising Committee for IOHA Dublin 2024. We plan to have an outstanding conference programme with excellent scientific content together with practical case studies from working, experienced occupational hygienists and real-workplace thematic workshops. I strongly recommend that you submit an abstract that fits into any of these groupings.

This conference is in Ireland so it would not be complete without many opportunities for networking with your global peers, including several social occasions. I look forward to seeing you in Ireland.

We look forward to welcoming you to Dublin!
