Basic Principles of Occupational Hygiene

The AIOH is an approved training provider under the Occupational Hygiene Training Association (OHTA). This course meets the requirements of course W201, which is one of several modules developed by the OHTA to address the need for training of occupational hygiene personnel throughout the world.

The Basic Principles of Occupational Hygiene course provides an introduction to occupational hygiene and is an ideal first step for professionals looking to further their knowledge in this area.

This course provides participants the ability to describe the general basic approach to the recognition of occupational hygiene hazards, and equips persons with sufficient skills to be able to select the appropriate equipment to measure specific occupational hygiene hazards; devise a suitable sampling strategy; present results in a useful format; and recommend suitable control strategies.
