Sundowner Meeting – WA – 6 October
For over 40 years, WorkCover WA managed the audiometric testing scheme for noise exposed workers in WA. In 2024 this all changed.
WorkCover WA stepped away from the testing regime and changed the NIHL compensation claim pathway. Concurrently, WorkSafe WA stepped in with a new set of audiometric surveillance protocols under WHS regulation 58/118. Getting our heads around the changes has been a challenge! At this sundowner session, Glenn will describe the new audiometry requirements for WA’s high noise workplaces.
