As our team continues to grow, we’re seeking a passionate and experienced Occupational Hygienist to lead and support our Hygiene Technician team and ensure exceptional service delivery to our clients.

About the Role

This is a dynamic leadership role where you’ll not only conduct occupational hygiene assessments but also mentor and train our Hygiene Technician team. You’ll oversee service delivery, ensuring our clients receive high-quality, compliant, and practical solutions to workplace health risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor a team of Hygiene Technicians
• Oversee and ensure quality service delivery to clients across various industries
• Conduct occupational hygiene assessments including noise, dust, water, asbestos, diesel particulate and chemical exposure
• Conduct occupational health assessments including audiometric, spirometry and fit testing
• Develop and implement exposure monitoring programs
• Prepare detailed technical reports and communicate findings effectively
• Provide expert advice on hazard control and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver integrated health and safety solutions

About You

• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Hygiene, Science, or a related field
• Proven experience in occupational hygiene and team leadership
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Membership with the AIOH (Provisional or Full)
• Passion for mentoring and developing others
• Mining experience is preferable
