About the role:
We are looking for a Health and Safety Specialist to lead the development and continual improvement of the occupational hygiene portfolio. You will be developing strategies and interventions to improve capability and mitigate risks while providing technical advice on hygiene queries.
You’ll be based in Leederville. It’s a lively suburb, 5 minutes from Perth’s CBD. There’s plenty of places to eat and hang out, and you’re only 5-minutes away from the nearest train station – An easy commute when you’re heading into the office.

Skills & Experience:
Your ability to build and drive positive and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders will be important in this role. You will be someone who puts safety first and makes decisions with the whole of the organisation in mind. Your true focus is to continually improve safety performance, customer service and productivity.
You will be able to lead and influence others to increase awareness in safety and wellbeing.
Being appropriately qualified and experienced in a similar role will be necessary, where you can demonstrate your experience. Having Membership of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH) will be desirable.
You will have a good understanding of OSH Principles and contemporary OSH management philosophies, and have the capability to manage, develop and deploy people to enhance business capability.
