 Fundamentals of Heat Stress management and special considerations required for emergency response

Presenters:

Commander Matthew Charlwood has served with Fire Rescue Victoria for over 18 years and is currently the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Commander for Eastern District. During his career as a fire fighter, Matt has worked in the specialist branches of Hazmat, Trench Rescue, Urban Search and Rescue and Breathing Apparatus. Prior to his career as a fire fighter, Matt was a cartoonist/graphic designer, builders labourer and hand gravedigger and holds licenses to operate and use Farm Chemicals, front end loader, excavator, skid steer and forklift .

Luke Dunk has been a member of the AIOH for over 15 years and currently works with FRV as Manager of Health Services. Prior to FRV Luke has worked in Specialist and Leadership Occupational Health and Hygiene roles within Mining, Construction and Energy with companies such as BHP Olympic Dam, Fortescue Metals, Leighton Contractors and AGL.
