2022 AIOH President Kate Cole Presents the Results of the Member’s Survey to Respirable Crystalline Silica.

Safe Work Australia and EY are undertaking economic analysis and stakeholder consultation to support the Regulatory Impact Analysis (RIA) of regulatory and non-regulatory options to manage risks associated with respirable crystalline silica (RCS) exposure in Australian workplaces. The AIOH plan to make a submission on this important work.

To support this, we have gauged the expertise of our wider membership on the management of exposure to RCS through a survey conducted during March and April 2022.

This webinar reports the findings of that survey and provides key insights of the experiences of occupational hygienists across three key industry sectors (engineered stone; construction & tunnelling; and mining & quarrying) on exposures to RCS within Australia.
