We’ve been made aware that some of our members are receiving spam emails offering to sell “AIOH 2025 Member Lists” or similar. These messages are not from the AIOH.

These types of spam often appear around Conference registration and renewal periods, and while we can’t fully prevent them, we want to help you stay informed and vigilant.

Here’s what to keep in mind:

  • AIOH does not sell or share member contact lists.
  • We will never send emails from addresses ending in @gmail.com, @bigpond.com, or similar personal domains.
  • AIOH Staff, Committee members, or Council members will never ask you to purchase gift cards or make purchases on behalf of the AIOH.
  • Be cautious of emails with suspicious links, attachments, or unexpected requests for personal or financial information.
  • Always check the sender’s email address; if something seems off, it probably is.

You can block these types of messages by right-clicking the email and selecting ‘Mark as Junk’ or ‘Block Sender’ in your email system

If you’re unsure about any message, please forward it to admin@aioh.org.au and we can help verify it.
Thanks for helping us protect our community and keep our communications secure.
