Eurofins Innovation Award

The Eurofins Innovation Award, sponsored annually by Eurofins Australia, recognises AIOH members who develop, promote or implement innovation in occupational hygiene that benefits worker health and the profession. The recipient represents the AIOH at a national or international level, sharing the benefits of their innovation to advance worker health protection.

What the award covers

Upto $10,000 covering

The award provides opportunities to further investigate or implement your innovation. This can include:

  • Travel within Australia or overseas (subject to AIOH approval)
  • Accommodation and incidental costs for travel
  • Development of prototypes or project-related expenses
  • Other activities that support the exploration, promotion or implementation of the innovation

Please note: funding is limited, and recipients may need to supplement costs.

Who can apply

Eligible applicants must be:

  • Provisional, Full, or Fellow members of the AIOH in good standing
  • Not members of the AIOH Awards and Sponsorship Committee
  • Not employees or relatives of employees of Eurofins Australia

Preparing your application

Applications must include:

  • Personal details, qualifications and relevant training
  • Work history and experience in occupational hygiene
  • A detailed description of your innovation and its anticipated benefits
  • Any supporting information such as milestones, publications or presentations
  • Your proposed itinerary or budget for implementing or exploring the innovation

Focus on demonstrating your enthusiasm, commitment, and competence as a practising occupational hygienist. Make sure to highlight your contribution, impact, and future plans in the field.
