The Professional Development Sub-Committee (PD) drives the development and delivery of high-quality training and education for AIOH members and the wider occupational hygiene community. From webinars and masterclasses to courses and accreditation, the committee ensures professional development aligns with AIOH’s commitment to excellence and supports members at every stage of their career.
The Professional Development Sub Committee supports the AIOH Executive and Council by delivering high-quality training and professional development opportunities for members and the broader occupational hygiene community. This includes webinars, masterclasses, courses, and other programs that strengthen capability and support members throughout their careers.
The committee ensures all education and training activities reflect AIOH’s objectives of professional excellence and continuous improvement. By identifying emerging topics and engaging expert presenters, it helps members remain current and confident in their practice.
The Sub Committee also contributes to membership grading through academic review input and maintains oversight of the AIOH University Course Accreditation Program until it transitions to a dedicated board. In doing so, it upholds the standards of the profession while supporting pathways for future occupational hygienists.
