As we move into a new Council year, we begin by acknowledging and sincerely thanking those completing their terms.
Nicola Peel, concludes three years on Council, including one year as Councillor and two years as Secretary. Her commitment, eye for detail and support across governance and process improvement have been truly valued by both the Office and Council.
Aleks Todorovic, steps down after seven consecutive years of service. This includes five years as Treasurer, one year as President Elect and one year as President. Aleks has been instrumental in guiding the AIOH into a new era, strengthening internal operations, modernising systems and laying foundations for long-term stability and growth. Much of this work occurred behind the scenes and we extend our gratitude for his dedication, leadership and the time he has given the Institute.

The AIOH thrives because of the members who volunteer their time and expertise across our committees, sub committees, working groups and boards. As part of the Beyond 45 strategy, we’ve refreshed this structure to be more focused and collaborative, moving from nine standalone committees to four core committees supported by targeted subcommittees. This streamlined approach reduces duplication, strengthens alignment and makes it easier for volunteers to contribute where it counts. It also brings related areas together, like mentoring, professional development and recognition, creating clearer roles, less administrative load and more meaningful outcomes for the AIOH community.
One of the benefits of Membership is access to find colleagues, subject matter experts or to extend your professional network. Use the search feature below to find a fellow AIOH Member.
