About the role
WorkSafe is seeking a Senior Occupational Hygienist to provide specialist knowledge and technical expertise to help Victorian workplaces control health & safety risks. In this role you will have the opportunity to play a key part in helping Victorian workers to return home safely each day.
As part of a team of Hygienists you will provide support to a wide variety of internal and external clients and assist in complex workplace interventions; incident investigations; policy, guidance and standards development; stakeholder consultation; and in developing the technical capability of WorkSafe’s Inspectorate.
About you
You are an experienced Occupational Hygienist ready for the next step in your career. You possess a strong knowledge of occupational hygiene and experience in the application of, systems, processes and procedures to reduce the incidence and severity of injury and disease and can demonstrate the ability to undertake effective research and analysis and produce accurate reports and material.
