The course was overall very enjoyable, useful and I would definitely recommend it to others in fields associated with OHS and aspiring occupational hygienists.
The course has certainly increased our awareness of workplace hazards which have the potential to cause a myriad of health issues, monitoring, and testing techniques and control measures.
We will all go back into our place of work ready to spread the knowledge that we have gained from this course and extend the passion for occupational hygiene that our 4 trainers showed.
Especially useful to me was the hands-on tutorial sessions conducted by knowledgeable and experienced staff, which helped to consolidate information learnt in each module.
From Doctors and Medics managing health effects to HSE professionals managing the root causes of exposure, made the course vibrant with knowledge input and real world examples.
I had the opportunity to admire the theory and science, connect with experienced yet like-minded practitioners, old colleagues and new friends.
At times I was unsure if I was providing adequate learning and development but as the process progressed we slowly built our relationship and the long term results were outstanding….
